The prospective offeror must be able to apply the current version of SLAMM (Sea Level Affecting Marshes Model) to various national wildlife refuges.

The United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), intends to negotiate a non-competitive contract with Warren Pinnacle Consulting in accordance with 41 USC 253(c)(1) and FAR Part 6.302-1. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed purchase order based on responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This sole source award is a twelve month purchase order that will enable Warren Pinnacle Consulting to support the USFWS in conducting Sea Level Affecting Marshes Model (SLAMM) analysis. This sole source acquisition meets the conditions of FAR 6.302-1(ii) and is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements can submit related documentation. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement and will be at the sole discretion of the Contracting Officer. If no written responses are received at least (15) days (Thursday March 3, 2011 @ 5pm (EST) Eastern Standard Time) after the publication of this special notice, the contract will be awarded without further notice.
