Tactical Support Communications FSC: D316 NAICS: 517110 FISC Norfolk, Philadelphia Division intends to extend the term of contract, N00140-03-C-0045, with Rome Research Corporation from 01 September 2008 through 31 December 2008. Rome Research will continue to provide tactical support communication (TSCOMM) services in support of the NAval Computer and Telecommunications Station (NCTAMS LANT) Jakcsonville during the extension. Contract N00140-03-C-0045 is set to expire on 31 August 2008 and a follow-on contract will not be in place to fulfill the requirement for TSCOMM before the expiration. Continued support under contract N00140-03-C-0045 is necessary in order to ensure uninterrupted mission continuity for NCTAMS LANT while allowing for the competitive procurement to proceed.
