Introduction PEO STRI will host a Full Spectrum Operations (FSO) Industry Day on 6 April 2011. FM 3-0 (Operations) defines FSO as.... "Army forces combine offensive, defensive, and stability or civil support operations simultaneously as part of an interdependent joint force to seize, retain, and exploit the initiative, accepting prudent risk to create opportunities to achieve decisive results. They employ synchronized action - lethal and nonlethal - proportional to the mission, and informed by a thorough understanding of all variables of the operational environment." The FSO Industry Day will be held in Orlando, FL at the PEO STRI Partnership III building, 3039 Technology Parkway, in conference room 321A/B from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm. II. Objective Key objectives of this FSO Industry Day are three-fold. The first is to provide Industry Partners with an overview and insights on the aspects of FSO doctrine. The second is to provide Industry Partners with an understanding of how FSO folds into current and future acquisition efforts in the respective PM lanes of the PEO STRI organization. The third objective is geared toward preparation for I/ITSEC 2011, a conference that the Army has the lead to orchestrate and where FSO will be an underlying theme. III.
