This is a synopsis for the Repair of Relay Control System. The United States Air Force intends to issue a sole source purchase order under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures from Aquila, PO Box 219703 Kansas City, MO 64121-9703, to repair the fiber optic relay control system on the express feeders between Whiteman Air Force Base substations. This is not a request for quotation, nor is it an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Requests for copies of a solicitation hereto will not be honored or acknowledged. All timely responses will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not it is advantageous to the Government to conduct a competitive procurement; no award will be made on the basis of any response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No paper copies of this solicitation will be available. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this publication.
