The purpose of this Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is to determine the feasibility of an overhaul/repair of fixed aircrew seat assemblies across multiple USAF aircraft platforms. The aircraft to be included are KC-135/C-135, C-130, C-135, C-141B, E-3, C-141A, C-5A, and E-3A. The contractor shall perform overhaul/repair in accordance with the statement of objectives. Overhaul/repair of the seat assemblies to serviceable condition shall be in accordance applicable Technical Orders stated in the statement of objectives. A follow-on request for proposal (RFP) may or may not be issued. Currently, no funding is available for this initiative. Accordingly, be advised that this is not a RFP and this SSS in no way obligates the government to award a contract. The government will not compensate any interested party, firm, or individual that may respond to this SSS.
