J--Harris P25 Land Mobile Radio Preventative Maintenance and Repair, West Point, NY

This posting constitutes the United States Military Academy's notice of intent to award, on a sole source basis, a contract to Harris Corporation, 221 Jefferson Ridge Parkway, Lynchburg, VA 24501, for Technology Refreshment, Information Assurance Support, and Infrastructure Maintenance for the Harris P25 Narrowband Version # 6.2.1 Land Mobile Radio System at West Point. This service shall include 24 hours a day, 7 days a week maintenance with 2 hour onsite response time to system failures. The anticipated period of performance is from 26 September 2012 through 25 March 2013 with one (1) one (1) year option and one (1) six (6) month option. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The applicable NAICS Code is 811213 and the size standard is $10 million. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement upon receipt of response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. There will be no solicitation available.
