61--Fort Wainwright Alaska is intending to Award, a Sole Source requirement for Battery Replacement at Fort Greely, Alaska.

The Regional Contracting Center, Fort Wainwright, Alaska, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Emerson Network Power, Liebert Services Inc to provide the purchase and installation Certificate Testing of 3 Battery Strings tied to the Hemp Power System at Fort Greely, AK. The delivery of this requirement is scheduled for 12 Oct 2010. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1(a)(2).
