The U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Job Corps intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Citix Systems, Inc. to provide software maintenance, licenses and support for the Citrix Presentation Server. The Job Corps Data Center (JCDC) located in Austin, TX is responsible for the design, deployment and maintenance of the Job Corps Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wide Area Network (WAN). The JCDC is also responsible for the deployment of new technologies to all Job Corps Centers. The Job Corps operates a Citrix server farm that services approximately 9,000 users. This maintenance agreement will allow Job Corps to upgrade to the latest product versions and provides access to an online licensing management tool. This notice of intent is not an announcement of the availability of a Request for Proposal (RFP), nor is an RFP available. Any interested parties who believe they can provide the required service may respond by submitting a capability statement via email to Darlene Johnson at

The capability statement must include price information and describe in detail the parties availability, qualifications, and experience in providing the required service as described above. All submissions must be received by the closing date of this notice. A determination not to compete the proposed work based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. (See Numbered Note 22).
