The U. S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) is seeking the services of a qualified U. S. firm to operate USTDA’s Information Resource Center (IRC) in Arlington, VA. The IRC maintains the Agency’s official program records and services USTDA clients who need access to the information. The contractor is responsible for implementing USTDA project data management policies; library maintenance; assistance to USTDA staff and external organizations/individuals; planning, designing, and producing special reports; suggesting approaches to information abstraction, organization, and dissemination; and providing receptionist and visitor control services. The base period of performance will be September 1, 2004 through August 31. 2005 with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. USTDA anticipates award of a single contract, on a firm fixed price basis. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code is 519120 with a size standard of $6 million. The solicitation package will be available on or about May 7, 2004. The solicitation, all related documents and amendments, and all questions and answers, if any, will only be released and available electronically through the Electronic Posting System (EPS) at http://www.eps.gov under the EPS for vendors option followed by selection of the U. S. Trade and Development Agency. Potential vendors are responsible for accessing the website. No paper copies of the solicitation will be distributed.
