The Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground, Tennant Division, 4118 Susquehanna Avenue, Aberdeen, MD 21005 has a requirement to procure the following items: CLIN 0001 One (1) i-Speed 3 16GB color camera 1280 X 1024 Resolution @ 2,000 fps MAX 150,000 fps 1s shutter. Part Number K10008451. CLIN 0002 One (1) i-Speed Controller Display Unit CDU. Part Number K750428 The intended delivery date for the item(s) is September 29, 2012. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) sole source order/contract to Olympus NDT, Inc. This camera will be a drop in addition to the existing custom built high speed video analysis system designed by Olympus. No other camera can be used due to patent restrictions. This firm is the sole developer/manufacturer /distributor of the product. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333315 and the Business Size Standard is 500. All responses received within ten (10) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
