RECOVERY: Lexmark Network Printers to Support National Hearing Center and Disability Determination

RECOVERY – THIS ACTION IS FUNDED BY THE RECOVERY ACT. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. This opportunity is available only to SSA’s existing Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) holder, Lexmark International, Inc., of Lexington, KY, under the GSA Federal Supply Schedule Contract Number GS-35F-0789J. SSA competitively awarded BPA SS00-04-40016 to Lexmark International, Inc. against the GSA FSS contract for color and monochrome network printers, toner, and support in accordance with the procedures of FAR Subpart 8.4. SSA intends to issue a firm fixed-price Call Order to its existing BPA. SSA will acquire color and monochrome network printers, consisting of Lexmark T644 monochrome printers, C782 color printers, printer stands, and assorted toner cartridges. As part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, Congress appropriated money to SSA to reduce the disability. To support this initiative, SSA will provide printers to new employees at the National Hearing Office in Baltimore, MD, and Disability Determination Sites located throughout the United States.
