Y--Emergency Power Upgrades & Security Lighting at EPA Facility in Ann Arbor, MI

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has a requirement for emergency power upgrades and installation of security lighting at its National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Laboratory, 2565 Plymouth Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Work includes installing a new underground duct bank, a new bi-fuel emergency standby generator, new emergency distribution panels and automatic transfer switches, and new emergency lighting panel boards; reworking existing electrical feeder lines to the motor control centers; providing distribution systems for a future co-generator and paralleling switchgear; installing a site lighting control center and site lighting; and associated trenching, backfilling, and pavement repairs. A firm-fixed price contract is contemplated. The anticipated contract performance period is one year after receipt of the notice to proceed.
