65--65 -- Vessel Probe, Monitor System, Software & Training

The VA Network 22 Logistics Office intends to negotiate a sole source, firm, fixed-price contract (Commercial Item FAR Part 12) with Vital Images under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. A justification for other than full and open competition is being prepared in support of this acquisition. Vital Images is to provide a vessel probe (stock #VIT-GVP), Vitrea 2 premium single monitor system (stock #VITREAPREMXP), site licence and software (stock #VIT-FLOAT) and training to the VA Long Beach Healthcare System, 5901 E. Seventh Street, Long Beach, CA 90822. Equipment is manufactured by Vital Images. Solicitation to be available o/a 7/15/05 with quotes due o/a 7/29/05. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting their request, in writing, to the Contracting Officer.
