The U.S. Secret Service, Financial Crimes Division, Asset Forfeiture Branch (AFB) has a requirement for asset seizure and forfeiture administrative support, i.e., ensuring the administrative and legal support functions concerning the case files for seizure and forfeiture of real, personal and monetary property are complete, accurate and timely, and consistent with agency policy and federal law. Proposals should address the most efficient and cost effective means of organizing and employing administrative support. Currently, one (1) On-Site Project Manager, seven (7) Data Analysts, one (1) Legal Team Leader, three (3) Attorneys/Paralegals, one (1) Financial Analyst, and one (1) Property Management Technician perform these duties under a Labor Hour type contract. The Government intends to award a Performance Based Award-Term incentive contract under the 8(a) program. The period of performance shall include a base period with eight-one year Award Terms based upon exceptional performance. It is anticipated a Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued early May 2002 with proposals due 30 calendar days after issuance of the RFP.
