The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, St. Inigoes, MD, Identification Systems Division (IDS) has a requirement for the engineering and technical services in support of the Combat Identification and Air Traffic Control Systems. These services will include cradle to grave life cycle support to include advanced systems planning, systems engineering, fleet installation, and integrated logistics support for a wide range of identification and air traffic control systems used throughout the Fleet. The Government anticipates award of a cost plus fixed fee level of effort type contract with a base period of one year, with 4 one-year option periods, for a total performance period of five years. The estimated Level of Effort (LOE) on annual basis is 38,000 man-hours. The Small Business Administration has accepted this acquisition under the 8(a) program, and resultant contract will be awarded on the basis of competition limited to eligible 8(a) firms.
