THIS IS A SMALL BUSINESS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE REPRESENTING A MARKET SURVEY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, PROPOSAL ABSTRACTS, QUOTATIONS NOR INVITATION FOR BIDS Â The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting a MARKET RESEARCH SURVEY to obtain information regarding: (1) the availability and capability of qualified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns; and (2) their size classification relative to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the proposed acquisition. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. An organization that is not considered a small business under the applicable NAICS code should not submit a response to this notice. Small business concerns should be capable of furnishing all labor, supervision, and parts, to include all equipment necessary to perform all work require under the proposed contract. The NAICS code is 519130 DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIREMENT: VISN 7 Information has a requirement for Integrated Library Services. This service is used as a cataloging system for the libraries within VISN 7. The cataloging system is used by medical personnel to locate and reference books, journals, and audiovisual information. Requirements: Authority control with the National Library of Medicine MeSH concurrency. Have MeSH tools in OPAC/online public access catalog. Demonstrate the ability to integrate custom VA Reports Suites. Provides A to Z list for any resources. Enables automated integration with important health science electronic resource aggregator. Provides application modules and server hosting services, including underlying server hardware, software, database management system, server co-location, support, and security products, maintenance, services and updates to these components. Multiple daily backups included.
