Overview: • "Ready, fire, fame!" will be the mantra of pit masters competing in the inaugural year of the Air Force's, "High Flyin' BBQ Challenge". Teams will begin by participating in locally sanctioned competitions in one of three regions. The top two (2) teams from each region will advance to participate in the finals in February 2015. • Morale building activities like the "High Flyin' BBQ Challenge" build camaraderie and esprit dé corps both of which directly benefits resiliency. • In exchange for financial or in-kind support, a sponsor's marketing message will be included on multiple advertising platforms reaching tens of thousands of military members. Sponsor benefits can also be tailored toward sponsor's marketing strategies, Promotion: • The Challenge will be heavily promoted through a variety of media channels to include print and digital, closed-circuit television and radio reaching a customer base of Air Force patrons where they 1.77M live, work and play. Potential Sponsor Benefits: • Continental US marketing campaign • Prize sponsor recognition • Product category exclusivity Program Needs: • Team shirts / aprons (8 doz) • Trophies • Grill accessories e.g. charcoal, sauces, tools • Airfare/lodging This is a solicitation for sponsors by a non-appropriated (non-taxpayer) fund instrumentality of the United States Government.
