This will be an official Request for Information (RFI) in accordance with FAR Part 52.215-3. Although "proposal" and "offeror" are used in this Request for Information, your response will be treated as information only. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated will be solely at the interested party's expense. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on Federal Business Opportunities (FedbizOpps) at https://www.fbo.gov. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. 2. The 7th Contracting Squadron (7 CONS) intends to procure LED Hangar Lighting at Dyess AFB, TX in accordance with the attached specifications. The information that is gathered from this RFI will be used to form a formal Request for Quotation at a later time. The NAICS Code for this effort is 335122, Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional Electric Lighting Fixture Manufacturing. Respondents should indicate their size in relation to this size standard and indicate socio-economic status (i.e. SB, 8(a), HUBZone, EDWOSB, WOSB, or SDVOSB). 3. The aforementioned information along with interest and capability statements are requested to be provided no later than 17 August 2017. Please answer all of the questions in as much detail as possible. 4. The requests for information are as follows: a. What does this requirement in accordance with the attached specifications cost? b. What companies are capable of providing this requirement in accordance with the attached specifications? c. Are these items issued with a warranty and if so, how long is the standard commercial warranty? 5. The information that is received from this RFI will be used to make the best decision on how to proceed with this acquisition.
