Item Description: NSN 4140-01-512-7290, Impeller blades. Approved sources are GKN and ULTRAFAB. This solicitation is unrestricted, FOB destination, inspection at destination applies. The Government intends to make award without discussions. Offerors are encouraged to submit their best offer in responding to this solicitation. However, the Government does reserve the right to conduct discussions, if necessary. The base qty will be 614 sets with the option for an additional 25%. Phased delivery is required beginning in 60 days with no less then 200 units delivered per month. Any resulting contract will be firm, fixed price with a 25% Qty option. The government intends to award only to approved sources under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1). Offers will be evaluated based on the lowest offered price who meets technical acceptability. Technical acceptability will be determined by whether a vendor takes exception to requirements of the solicitation. The estimated issue date is 2/27/08. The solicitation will be open for 30 days.
