NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC) Ohio Bio Challenge

NASA's Glenn Research Center (GRC), located in Cleveland, Ohio, wants to promote technology-based economic development in the state of Ohio through a startup competition to launch new companies in the state. The competition, Ohio Bio Challenge, seeks to incentivize entrepreneurs to form teams around federally-owned intellectual property to start up new companies. The technical focus of the Ohio Bio Challenge will be on biomedical and health related federally-owned intellectual property. This sources sought announcement solicits interest from U.S. private industry, individuals, academic or research institutions. NASA GRC's Technology Transfer Program (T2P) plans to enter into agreements for collaboration under the authority of the National Aeronautics and Space Act of 1958, as amended ("Space Act"). Agreements with external organizations will be in the form of a Non-reimbursable Space Act Agreements (SAA) where each party funds their own participation in the effort, and there is no exchange of funds. In keeping with NASA's mission to publish as widely as practicable, any resultant data outputs from these collaborations will be publishable.
