The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), National Veterinary Services Laboratory (NVSL) located in Ames, IA intends to issue a sole source purchase order under the authority of FAR Part 13.106 (b) to Ortho Clinical Diagnostics (OCD) of Rochester, NY for 12 months of service maintenance on OCD brand Vitros 5,1 laboratory analysis equipment. The service maintenance agreement will be procured as a commercial item in accordance with the procedures in FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) and FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures). The sole source determination is based on OCD being the sole source for factory-trained labor and maintenance services for all Vitro 5,1 systems manufactured and sold by OCD. The anticipated total value of the purchase order is $26,910.00. This is not a request for quotes. However, all interested parties may contact the Contract Specialist listed below.
