This notice of intent to issue an order to Sprint Solutions, Inc. 2001 Emund Halley Dr.Resto Va 20191-3436, on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible, No Other Supplie or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirement, 10.U. S.C 2304 (c)(1). The propose is for a renewal of an existing Sprint Solutions Blacbery Systems and Cell Phones lease agreement that will expired June 2009. The Sprint systems are for staff and faculty to use for emergency e-mails and phone in support of DINFOS. It is used by the Engineering and IT departments to monitor networks. See Attached Sole Source Justification. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposals contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
