Serena PVCS software license maintenance

The Department of Commerce has a requirement for annual continuous maintenance for seven types of Serena PVCS software licenses that support the Commerce Business Systems (CBS)/Core Financial System application and applicable interfaces, as well as, related customer support activities. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a price quote is being requested from only one source, Immix Technology, Inc., the sole and exclusive reseller of Serena products to the Federal Government. Solicitation No. SA1301-12-RQ-0069 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and no further written solicitation will be issued. The solicitation is being conducted under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), and FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-56, effective March 2,2012. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price delivery order under GSA Schedule contract #GS-35F-0265X as a result of this solicitation. The period of performance is October 1, 2012 through September 30, 2013, subject to the availability of Fiscal Year 2013 funds. Immix Technology, Inc. is requested to respond to this solicitation by submitting a price quote to Sherry Bradley, US Dept of Commerce, Office of Acquisition Management, 1401 Constitution Ave. NW, Room 6521, Washington, DC 20230. The price quote must be received no later than Tuesday August 7, 2012 at 4:30pm Eastern time.
