Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Defense Innovation Unit Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Services

THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT’S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD CONTRACT TO WEST PUBLISHING CORPORATION FOR SOFTWARE LICENSE UPDATES The Department of Defense (DoD), Washington Headquarters Services, Acquisition Directorate, (WHS/AD) intends to award a sole source blanket purchase agreement under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Certain Commercial Items implemented in the Federal Acquisition Regulation, FAR 13.106(b)(1)(i) “Soliciting from a single source” and in accordance with FAR 13.303 Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs). WHS/AD intends to issue a firm-fixed price blanket purchase agreement to LastWall Corporation, 550 Oak Street, Mountain View, CA 94041-1921, (DUNS: 080101758, CAGE Code: 7KWJ4). The Government partnered with LastWall Corp. to develop customized and unique stand-alone security features that are not being offered by other publically recognized service providers. LastWall Corp. will allow the Government to build upon its current infrastructure, security needs, and program success; as well as to maximize efficiency and economy and minimizes burden and administrative costs for both the Government and industry. The blanket purchase agreement is necessary as LastWall Corp. will provide applications and services for current network infrastructure and strong two-factory authentication for the single sign-on (SSO) access to all information technologies cloud tools currently being used. The anticipated period of performance will be for five (5) years. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 511210, Software Publishers.
