NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: The 673d Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska intends to award a sole source purchase order to Aerospace Facilities Group Inc. as a result of them having sole data and digital rights for the software that runs the current C-17 corrosion control facility booth. • This requirement is to restore and reload the original Global Finishing Solutions C-17 corrosion control facility software at JBER, Alaska. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b). The anticipated award date is 24 August 2016. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product/services listed above. Deadline date for the submittals is 22 August 2016 at 2 pm Alaska Daylight Time. A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
