16 -- Recalibration/Recertification of Mating Fixture and Realignment of Holding Fixture

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued unless requested. The solicitation number is H92241-04-T-0008, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The due date is 17 FEB 04 no later than 10:00 AM EST. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-19. The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 336411 and small business standard of 1500 employees. This solicitation is unrestricted. There are no other known authorized/qualified sources to perform this particular service. The government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to MD Helicopters Inc, Mesa, AZ for the recalibration/re-certification of 1 ea. Position Mating Fixture 369A2000-5003 and alignment of 1 ea. Holding Fixture 369A0110-30201 to the Master located at the Bluegrass Station in Lexington, KY. Inspection and acceptance shall be at Origin by the Government. Delivery is required by 1 March 2004. FOB point is Destination. This RFQ does not provide for full and open competition. If interested parties show an interest as a result of this notice, they will be given due consideration required by law. Note 22 applies. Any award resulting from this RFQ will be issued on a SF 1449 and will incorporate all clauses required by law, the FAR and the DFARS as appropriate. Proposals must be delivered to USSOCOM, TAKO, ATTN: AMSAT-D-TK, 401 Lee Blvd, Fort Eustis, VA 23604-5577 on 17 FEB 04 NLT 1000 hours. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) assigned rating is DO.
