Purchase Digital Automatic Flight Control System (DAFCS) parts for the MH-47G Aircraft

U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) anticipates contracting with The Boeing Company, Route 291 & Stewart Ave, Ridley Park PA, 19078-1099, for Flight Control Computers, P/N 714VS100-1; DAFCS Control Panels, P/N 724VS110-1; Replacement Longitudinal CCDA and Bracket, P/N 145C6100-4; and Sideslip Transducers, P/N 1121F2VL7B2A to be installed on the MH-47G helicopter, or any other aircraft fielded for USSOCOM. The proposed action is for commodity purchases for which the Government does not own specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. Firms that feel they can provide these commodities or equal are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal, however, the Government will consider all proposals received by the specified due date (in accordance with FAR 5.203(a)). A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government. The estimated release date of the solicitation is 22 April 2009.
