Reference Note 22. Notice of Intent to Award a sole source procurement under the simplified acquisition procedures (SAP) to C/S Solutions, Inc., for a one-year renewal and technical support of wInsight software suite. The proposed procurement is a one-year renewal from 1 May 2003-30 April 2004. In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), the Government is negotiating directly with C/S Solutions. The primary objective is to provide SMC with an earned value management tool to analyze the contractors’ performance. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Mission criticality dictates seamless operation, hence sole source to ensure compatibility. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541519 with a size standard of $21,000,000.00.
