J -- OMB Circular A-76: DoD Public-Private Competition of the Red Switch Function Performed by Department of the Air Force Located at Langley AFB, VA

In accordance with Office of Management and Budget Circular A-76 (Revised), Performance of Commercial Activities dated 29 May 03, on 19 Apr 07, formal public notification was made to announce the official start date of a public-private competition of the Red Switch Function performed at Langley AFB, VA. On 22 Jun 07, a streamlined competition was conducted in accordance with guidance from the revised circular which determined agency performance to be the most efficient and cost effective method of operation. No solicitation will be issued.
