The 316th Contracting Squadron, Andrews Air Force Base intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Dynix Corp, located at 400 West 5050 North, Provo, UT, 84604, for the purchase of Dynix software and server maintenance for Andrews AFB Library. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price service contract. Negotiation being conducted using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of FAR 6.302-1(b)(i)(1). The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Governmentwill consider all proposals received within three (3) days after date of publication of this synopsis. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of request for quotation. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. Contractors submitting any proposal to the Government must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the Central Contractors registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov.
