The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Fire Research Group at Tyndall AFB invites you to participate in an informational meeting for manufacturers of fire fighting agents, agent delivery systems, vehicles, fire detection/suppression systems, and special rescue and personal protective equipment. Plans are to present to the fire community an overview of AFRL Fire Research projects and information on the status of new fire fighting technologies being developed, particularly the utilization of ultra high pressure (UHP) water/foam technology for aircraft crash rescue fire fighting. The goals of this meeting are threefold: 1) to identify potential partners interested in working with the AFRL Fire Research Group to transition technology for both military and civilian applications, 2) to find parties interested in developing products based on the new technology for the fire community, 3) to promote discussions of capabilities and technologies among participants. This notice is not intended as a call for proposals. No classified or proprietary information will be discussed. If interested in attending the meeting, please send an e-mail, with the subject line “AFRL Informational Meeting” to Steven Wells at
