Intent to Award Sole Source: Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Device (VBIED) Toolkit Items

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS AND THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A SOLICITATION. Pursuant to the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) the National Assessment Group (NAG), Kirtland AFB, New Mexico, intends to isssue a Sole Source purchase to Mistral Security Inc. 7910 Woodmont Ave. Ste. 820, Bethesda, MD. 20814-3063 for the following equipment which the NAG will use for evaluation purposes only. 10 each Extender Gripper Kit w/carry bag 10each Electric Vehicle Lift Jack w/carry bag 10 each Extender Tools w/carry bag Shipping The Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office (CTTSO) granted Mistral Security Inc. a licence to develop and market the above-described equipment. The Government's decision to award a contract to Mistral Security Inc. is based on the Government's requirement to determine the capabilities and limitations (if any) of the above-described equipment which Mistral Security Inc. manufactures under the license CTTSO granted it. The number of each item is the minimum the Government estimates it requires to perform adequate testing.
