NELLIS LODGING WI-FI UPGRADE BLDG 465

This requirement is for commercial wireless Internet access of 400Mbps for building 465 at Nellis AFB. The Internet bandwidth will be provided utilizing the installed wireless access points previously installed and maintained by MidAtlanticBroadband (MABB) aka Protel Services. NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SINGLE SOURCE: The NAICS Code is 517911. The 99th Contracting Squadron, Nellis AFB, NV contemplates awarding a single source purchase order as authorized by FAR 6.302-1 to MidAtlanticBroadband (MABB) aka Protel Services. MidAtlanticBroadband currently provides recreational Internet service for all of the Nellis Inn under contract FA41999-07-D-6082. That contract provides recreational Internet on a shared basis between all of the guest rooms of the Nellis Inn. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received electronically by 1:00PM PST , 12 June 2021 that are equivalent to Protel Services will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
