S -- Base Custodial Services

The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items necessary to perform all required custodial services identified in the Statement of Work (SOW) in accordance with the Building Owners and Management Association (BOMA) specifications, commercial standards, and federal, state and local requirements. The contractor shall maintain each facility to present a neat, clean and professional working environment at all times, at frequencies determined by the contractor. This procurement is set-aside for certified 8(a) contractors and will contain one base year (01 Oct 2002 through 30 Sep 2003) and six option years. The successful contractor will be selected using Past Performance Trade Off (PPTO) procedures, resulting in the Best Value to the Government. Past performance is significantly more important than price. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 17 July 2002 via the Federal Business Operations web page at http://eps.gov/. Telephone requests for the solicitation will not be accepted, and solicitation packages will not be mailed. The mandatory site visit is scheduled for 25 July 2002, 10:00AM CST at the 7th Contracting Squadron, 381 Third Street, Dyess AFB, TX 79607. Again, this site visit is MANDATORY. Any proposals received from contractors not attending the site visit will be considered NON-RESPONSIVE. Individual copies of the floor plan drawings for each building in this project will be provided to those attending the site visit. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this website frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents.
