Project No. ZNRE 04-4301, Improve Family Housing Phase 2, Yokota Air Base. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation and other items and services necessary renovate 263 housing units at Yokota Air Base, Japan. Wok on this project includes, but not limited to upgrade mechanical room domestic hot water piping including pumps, controls, and associated mechanical and electrical equipment beginning the piping connections to the domestic hot water manifolds including asbestos abatements (25 units); replace exterior direct-buried domestic hot water distribution system; perform exterior and interior electrical and auxiliary works; replace existing floor/wall finishes; conduct structural work; HVAC/pluming works; etc. The performance period for this project is 840 calendar days excluding option items. The magnitude of this construction project is more than $10,000,000 (1,254,900,000 yen) in accordance with FAR 36.204. Contractor shall furnish a performance bond (100% of the contract price) in accordance with FAR 52.228-15. The solicitation will be issued around February 2004.
