R -- Sports Officials

DESC: Sports Officials-- This is a synopsis for commercial items using commercial procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with Far Part 13. Peterson AFB releases this synopsis in support of Colorado Springs Military Installation Partnership (CSMIP). Under this effort, one solicitation will be issued to satisfy all installations in the local area. Requirement is for nonpersonal services to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, management, supervision, transportation, and all other items or services necessary to provide sports officials for intramural, varsity, and youth sports at Peterson AFB CO, Schriever AFB CO, US Air Force Academy CO, and Fort Carson CO. Sports include basketball, softball, volleyball, flag football, soccer, baseball (youth only). The contract is for one basic year and 4 one-year option periods. The solicitation will be issued on or about 20 Aug 02. Proposals will be due on or about 06 Sep 02. The government reserves the right to award more than one contract resulting from this solicitation. Contractor shall bid on all items in order to be considered responsive. Firms desiring consideration should request a copy of the solicitation in writing. Request shall indicate business size (i.e. small, non-profit, large) and business representation (i.e. woman-owned, disadvantaged). All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by this agency. This solicitation is unrestricted.
