Y -- Maintenance, Repair, and Construction of Playing Courts

To provide construction of new courts, repair/replacement of existing courts, resurfacing existing courts, replace fencing and fence post, and court accessories at the United States Air Force Academy. Tennis courts are indoor and outdoor, basketball and team handball courts are outdoor. Indoor court surfaces are wood, outdoor are post-tensioned concrete. Resurfacing may be complete or color only. A resulting Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract will consist of a base year plus four (4) one year option periods. There is a minimum of $50,000.00 worth of work guaranteed for the base year only. Contract period will be from the date of contract award through 30 September 2003, with subsequent option year periods of 1 October thru 30 September. The National Acquisition Industrial Classification Standard Code (NAISC) proposed is 235990. This solicitation is unrestricted (full and open competition) in accordance with the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program with an estimated total value (base year plus all options) in the $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00 range. The solicitation is tentatively scheduled for issuance on or about 30 July 2002 with a closing date on or about 29 August 2002 utilizing the Government?s Electronic Posting System (EPS).
