R--Yellowstone River Corridor Study Cultural Archiving Project at the US Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District

On or about 09 September 2010 this office intends to issue a contract for the Yellowstone River Corridor Study Cultural Archiving Project under NAICS Code 519120. The Government will award one firm-fixed purchase order. The purpose of the archiving is to obtain permission from each of the individuals previously interviewed to allow the original recordings and transcripts to be archived and available for public access. This contract will be a sole source award to the University of Montana Billings which led the original data collection effort, retains all of the data, and has the unique capabilities required to provide these specialized services in support of the Yellowstone River Corridor Study. The University of Montana Billings was selected for this award because this is a follow-on contract and they possess the experience, expertise, knowledge, and refined techniques to conduct the needed services and to provide an excellent end product.
