NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD The Contracting Center of Excellence on behalf of the Office of The Surgeon General (OTSG), Proponency Office for Rehabilitation & Reintegration (PR&R), and in accordance with FAR subpart 6.3, intends to execute a Firm Fixed Price contract under other than full and open competition- sole source basis to MW Associates. The Government intends to procure the services of a contractor who shall be responsible for coordinating and managing the preparation of analysis to include outcome measurement design and metric development, evaluation and recommendations for proper implementation of two aquatic programs (one for rehabilitation and one for exercise) and systems specifications in order to standardize these programs across the U.S. Army. The proposed period of performance is one year from date of contract award. This notice is valid until Friday, September 14, 2009 and is NOT a Request for Proposals. The Government does not intend to submit a solicitation for proposals. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for any technical information provided. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. REQUIREMENTS: Assist the Army in development of a pilot program to standardize aquatic rehabilitation and Warrior aquatic exercise throughout the Army. There is NO solicitation document.
