36--This is a notice of intent that the Pine Bluff Arsenal intends to acquire 2 ea Laser Marking Systems for the new M40 Mask production lines on a sole source basis.

The Pine Bluff Arsenal has need for 2 ea Laser Marking systems for the M40 Mask new production lines on a sole source basis to match existing system already in place. Each system consist of the following: Zenith 20FQ Model 6 laser marking system, Laser controller electronics (19 in. rack mount), includes galvo power supplies, E-stop, key switch, shutter controls, drive electronics, and RTC-4 card. Laser power source; i. Optical isolator unit; ii. Fiber delivery cable (3 meter), and iii. Red pointer diode. Merlin II LS, standard software. Flat field lens 163 mm with adapter ring and Manuals. Manually loaded, class I enclosure. This acquisition is being pursued on an unrestricted basis. An award will be made 6 days from the date of this notice. This is not a request for quote; however, sources may submit descriptive literature which fully demonstrates that their product meets the specification which shall be considerer by the agency.
