The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), on behalf of the U.S. Army Information Technology Agency (USAITA), intends to award a sole source contract to Eberhard Klemens Company, Inc., 10400 W. Higgins Rd., Ste. 200, Rosemont, IL 60018 pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The USAITA seeks to procure maintenance and support of ETF/A software. This software operates under Government-owned/perpetual licenses on the IBM Z9-2094-EC-S08-405 and IBM Z9-2096-BC-R07-A02 computers in the Data Center (DC) of the USAITA. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 511210 with a small business size standard of $23M. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement within the ten (10) days of this announcements posting date of 10 September 2008. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon any responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government in future procurements.
