--NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD

In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(c), Circumstances Permitting Other Than Full and Open Competition, the Army Contracting Agency (ACA), Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) on behalf of the Department of the Army, Directorate of Army Information Management Support Center (IMCEN), intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Sole Source contract to Worldwide Technology, 58 Weldon Pkwy, Maryland Heights, MO 63043. The award is to be executed against an Army Computer, Hardware, Enterprise software, and Solutions (CHESS) contract vehicle to provide Hewlett Packard blade servers. This equipment is required to integrate with the existing system, enabling IMCEN to provide vital enhanced computer technology and systems to the Department of the Army for mission support. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Proposed contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by providing written notification to the point of contact (POC) no later that 11:00 am EST 9 Sept 2008. Supporting evidence must be furnished in detail to demonstrate the capabilities of the requirement as posted on web. Responses received will be evaluated, however a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to his notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
