The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), on behalf of the OFC Chief of Public Affairs, intends to a negotiate a sole-source contract with Lexis Nexis. The intent of the negotiations will result in a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract. The Governmen t intends to purchase unlimited access to; news, legislative, public records, financial and legal databases. Also needed are the Academic and Library Solutions available through LexisNexis of; Academic and Library Web services, Company Dossier, Congressio nal Research and Country Analysis, State Capital and Statistical data. OCPAs diverse mission requires up-to-date information that has been researched and verified. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit a nd negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source. There is no solicitation document and no Request for Proposals will be available for competitive proposals. Interested parties for future competative requireme nts may identify their interest in writing, no later than 9:00 AM (Eastern Standard Time) on 6 August 2007.
