The U.S. Army Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE) hereby announces its intent to award a sole source Purchase Order to Teleos Corporation of Ashburn, VA. to provide continuation of software licenses and maintenance support necessary to ensure all users within the U.S. Army Information Technology Agency (ITA) and the Pentagon will receive continuous meaningful information on ITAs classified and unclassified servers. This support is based on proprietary justification. This software, Xacta Informat ion Assurance (IA) Manager, is a patented application developed by Xacta Corporation, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Telos Corporation. Telos is the only source available in the U.S. who can provide this service due to proprietary rights and copyri ght restriction. Telos is the sole manufacturer of the Xacta IA Manager software which is already in use at in ITA and the only authorized representative to provide maintenance. The statutory authority permitting this award under other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals.
