Encrypted CPUs for the BAK 14 and Type-H Radio System

1. Selfridge Air National Guard Base, Michigan, intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to Cambridge Park Investments LLC, DBA Global Data Specialists, 1815 W First Ave, Mesa, AZ 85202 for installation of new encrypted CPUs for the BAK 14 and Type-H Radio System. Replace any non J/F-12 compliant radios with Motorola APX series J/F-12 compliant Radios. This sole source requirement meets the conditions of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1); only one responsible source has been identified as reasonably available to provide the supplies that will satisfy the agency requirements. Selfridge Air National Guard Base seeks to issue a sole source firm fixed price order to Global Data Specialist for the purchase of the CPUs and compliant radios. Global Data Specialist is the sole approved manufacturer and distributor for the required radio control systems. 2. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids, quotes, or proposals. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811213 and the Small Business size standard is 12mil. This will be a firm fixed price contract. See attached Replacement Locations and Quantities 3. Interested parties are required to provide equal parts meeting the above brand name requirements. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation, however all responsible sources that believe they can meet all of the requirements may submit a quote, which shall be considered. If no responses are received by 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, 23 August 2021, a Sole Source contract will be pursued with Global Data Specialist. 4.
