This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. ASFI-FED BIZ OPS Combo Template - See FAR Subpart 12.603 *************See Solicitation Amendment 0001 & Revised Appendix A******************* The Regional Contracting Center-Qatar (RCC-Q) is procuring Runway Signs, Lights, and Solar Panels for the Air Force at Bagram Airfield (BAF), Afghanistan. These items are required in order to complete the recent addition of a new runway and taxiway. The Solicitation Number for this procurement is W56KJD-15-T-0049 and is a Supply buy only. This solicitation contains four (4) parts. They are as follows: 1. Solicitation with all applicable clauses and provisions (50 Pages) 2. Solicitation Amendment 0001 (2 Pages) 3. Appendix A - BAF Runway and Taxiway CLIN Descriptions (5 Pages) **Updated** 4. Appendix B - Distance To Go Markers (3 Pages) 5. Appendix C - Customized Taxiway and Runway Signs (8 Pages) Delivery: As described in the Solicitation, the equipment is to be shipped from point of origin to Dover Air Force Base, DE. The equipment will loaded onto a military cargo aircraft for final delivery to Bagram Airfield. The point of acceptance will be at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan by the requesting customer. The contracted vendor shall be expected to ship all times at one time in order to maintain accountability of the shipment from the vendor to Bagram Airfield. The expectation is that all items arrive at Dover Air Force Base no later than 30 days After Date of Contract (ADC) award. Exact Item or Qualified Equivalent: The items requested in this solicitation represent similar items currently installed on the operational runways & Taxiways at Bagram Airfield. Vendors are requested to proposed same items or a qualified equivalent that meets or exceeds the characteristics of the items requested.
