Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems and equipment for HYDRA Wireless Interior Communications (IC) Program

Space and Warfare System Center Atlantic (SSC-Lant), Charleston, SC, intendsto issue a contract modification on a sole source basis to extend the orderingperiod of Contract N65236-07-D-5115 with Harris Corporation, 221 JeffersonRidge Parkway, Lynchburg, VA 24501-6952. The proposed contracts extensionwill allow time for a follow-on contract to be awarded. The contractorprovides LMR systems and accessories for the Hierarchical Yet DynamicallyReprogrammable Architecture (HYDRA) Wireless Interior Communications (IC)program on U.S. Navy ships. This notice of intent is not a request forcompetitive proposals. The ordering period will be extended for 120 days from20 May 2011 through 17 September 2011 with no increase in the contract ceiling.Comments shall be submitted in writing to Cathy Walton, via e-mail [email protected].
