Request for Information (RFI) PROPAGATION MODELING SOFTWARE

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic, AdvancedTechnology Branch (Code 51610) is seeking information on commercial-off-the-shelf propagation modeling software that is used by emergency responders to assure communications at an incident scene and among supporting personnel. The software is used in conjunction with communications systems to identify, in visual formats, coverage maps for radio frequencies and other wireless communications to assist in the placement of temporary repeaters and other communications equipment to support incident response. These products provide terrain analysis and visualization of communications coverage, among other capabilities. The software must be applicable to Communications Unit Leaders, communications technicians, and other emergency responders. They must also support users operating at an incident scene, command posts, department operations centers, emergency operations centers, and other operations centers.
