99--Grounding System Upgrade to the Radio Communications Link (RCL) in the FAA Western Service Area

Amendment 1: 3.25.10 Corrections to dating of RFO and answers to Contractor Questions The FAA intends to award a FIXED PRICE CONTRACT (FP) for the installation of a Grounding System Upgrade at the Radio Communications Link (RCL) Replacement Plants facilities in the FAA Western Service Area. The project consists of forty-one (41) sites in the states of Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Montana. This project is being completed in conjunction with an upgrade to the RCL system. Coordination of scheduling will be required with FAA Western Services Area Communications/Telecommunications. This project is a similar installation over a wide geographical area and will be performed in a variety of conditions ranging from easy drive-up to mountainous sites up to 12,000 feet elevation. This is a Firm-Fixed Price type contract effective for a five (5) month period or to the point where the project is completed whichever comes first. (Note: the tentative schedule for the project is 13 weeks. See Project Schedule Attachment #5.) The Contractor must make readily available and supply all labor, materials (except Government furnished), supervision, tools, equipment, transportation, and management necessary to provide installation of the grounding systems per the drawings and specifications, contract clauses, and wage rates for these facilities.
