99--Fire Protection Upgrade (CWB), Olathe, Kansas, Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC)

Project to upgrade the fire protection systems in the control wing basement at the Olathe, Kansas ARTCC. The scope of work includes but is not limited to the following: 1. Remove existing Halon 1301 fire suppression system. Existing system includes Halon, piping, control panel, detection system, and gas evacuation system. 2. Install new Viking, Firecycle III, single interlock, automatic, on/off fire sprinkler system. 3. Install new Johnson Controls fire detection system. System includes ceiling mounted detectors, and under raised floor detectors. 4. Firestop all existing and new penetrations in fire rated walls within the wok area.
